John Cumming
After studying applied physics and art in Scotland, John became a full time video game developer in 1982. He worked for Hewson, Graftgold, British Telecom, Epic's and many others were he was directly responsible for 15 released titles.
In the early 1990's, John moved to California to continue developing video games with Razorsoft, DTMC, Activision and Electronic Arts. During that time Silicon Sorcery was formed with initially three partners.
Work continued in the video game market with 3DO and CagEnt where John played a key role in game console development. Patented technology, including one of mine, from these two companies was sold to Panasonic, Samsung and Microsoft for well in excess of $220 million.
John has always been involved in video and computers. Videoing as a hobby began in the late 1980's. It became more serious with the purchase of $20,000 of professional video production equipment in 1994.
